I’ve not been updating much lately, I’ve been busy working on things; one of them being a student radio show. I will be playing some excellent women’s music going over local events and gigs and commenting on some of the more flippant news stories of the week. It’s really quite exciting as I’ve never done something like this before and I am passionate about music and feminism and thus that little meeting point which has lead me to discover some excellent female artists. I shall blog later in the week (or when I remember) about why I think it is important to highlight women’s creativity, and how me having a playlist that is female centred is not sexist and is indeed ‘a good thing’.
